Projects

Ongoing – Current and New

Over the past five years we have worked on numerous schooling projects assessing the effectiveness of competency based Social and Emotional Learning at educator and learner level in private schools in Cape Town and youth development projects.

Our new projects are aimed at under-privileged communities and schools that could not normally afford but we feel desperately need, our Model.  This is the area that we are needing funding in order to create and sustain ongoing relationships with these schools and youth development programmes.

We would also like to target NPO’s and other corporates that need staff development in this area.

Our intention is to source funding to allow us to take this proven Model into less privileged communities such as schools, youth centres and other Non-profit organisations.

Short-term goals

To identify schools that would benefit from the implementation of our integrated Social and Emotional Learning Model. Funding is required for this model to be effectively implemented and sustained.

Medium-term goals

We are seeking to train and support appropriate community members to facilitate and manage the ongoing implementation of the Model over a three year period.  In this way we will be creating employment within the given communities.  We will offer support and ongoing training. Funding is required for this model to be effectively implemented and sustained.

Long-term goals

To establish Social and Emotional Learning Centres in these communities.  These Centres will provide the support for community leaders through ongoing training, research and development.  Funding is required for this model to be effectively implemented and sustained.
